Overview

The E-flite servoless payload release enables you to drop a single payload while in flight, or enables you to use multiple devices to drop multiple payloads using only one channel on your receiver. It can also be used as a tow release for sailplanes.

These things work great. They work everytime. They are a good small size to fit on most rc planes

Product was as advertised and works very well. I installed it on a EPO foam model jet. All I had to do was plug it into a spare receiver channel, dedicate a switch to the operation and it was bombs away.

seller: please discard this batch that you are fulfilling Amazon orders from, it seems defective. Here is what I did: I connected them to 6V worth of AA batteries (four batteries) and a servo tester (or an RC receiver too, with the same result).Instead of a proper release there was just a clicking sound, in both cases. To figure out where the problem is, I took the first of the defective devices apart -- the servo motor itself seems fine, but the sensor in the controller seems to be defective (mostly doesn't even make the motor return back after I manually rotate it out of the neutral point).

Easy to hook up and it worked the first try. Thinking about buying a few more of these.

Needed to add a payload release to my drone, hooked this up to a receiver and power and had no issues. I used this many times to drop teeshirts in the crowd with no issues. 3d printed a bracket to hold the release, receiver, and battery and you are good to go.

Seems like good product. In our case we needed additional technical data that was not easy to find. (How to trigger device from Arduino rather than from RF receiver.) Provider responded to email with manufacturer's phone number but we ended up figuring out solution using internet forums. (Use servo writeMicroseconds() function.)

I use three or four of these connected to a separate receiver to drop things from my DJI Phantom 3 Pro.Mostly waterbombs. Biodegradable. Not on people of course, just for fun.

Works as it should, it fit nicely in the model that I purchased it for (model had a premolded location for it). No issues and no problems. It's a nice little device for what it is.
