American Style Joystick
- This joystick can support the 8 way and 4 way model. The default is round 8 ways.
- If you need use the 4 way, You just need flip No.5 small accessories.(Please refer to Figure 4)
- The NC interface is Signal / Function Pin to 4.8mm Connector. The COM interface is Ground Loop.
- Each joystick includes 4 high quality microswitches.The service life is 1.000.000 times
- Be sure to assemble the joystick in the numerical order in the picture.
- Because it missed any of the steps. It will lose its job.

I picked this set because it had the classic style buttons I remember from the 80s. I was hoping I could swap the bat for a ball, but it turns out I couldn't. That's on me for not doing the research. That said, these joysticks are very awkward to use for retro games, and they don't feel very accurate at all, whether configured for 8-way or 4-way. In addition, they require at least 3.5 inches of depth for mounting, so they are not good for making low-profile arcade controllers that can rest on your lap. I'm disappointed but as I said, I'm happy with the buttons. I think maybe this style of stick is better for newer games.The USB encoder couldn't be easier to use and configure. It's perfect!

Bisher noch kein besseres set gefunden. Druckpunkt und genauigkeit wie in den 80er/90er. Kein vergleich zu den günstigset's für weniger geld.

Unbelieveably clicky which is huge bonus for me. One of the buttons on the joystick was installed upside down. I just had to unscrew and flip it, but that makes me think the qc is probably dogshit. Mine worked well and it looks pretty amazing. Also its plug and play u just plug it into your laptop and it detects u can remap the buttons.

Does not feel like cheap stuff. Joysticks return spring is nice and strong, they give you plenty of buttons and micro switches to go around. Overall very satisfied.

The buttons function well enough to use but the spring in the buttons is very firm which leads to a lot of spring noises when hitting buttons. If you need the encoder and all it’s not a bad deal but these buttons are not very good imo

With this kit you are a 25$ used tv and retropie away from making an awsome arcade machine! I could've done the whole project from scratch but this kit made it light work. Just layout the buttons on a 6$ scrap wood from a home improvement store drill the holes and plug and play it was so easy.

These are AWESOME for the price. Very clickly. The feeback is instant felt no lag. Joystic feel great strong. I used it on my retro pi and steam just awesome my friends notice a huge difference from the old one i got! Good starter kit!

The kit came with scant instructions, and in particular the setup of the joysticks for 8vs 4 way operation was a mystery, but the components feel well made.
