It feels cheap, but it is flashy. The only real issue is the white LED only last a few months, happen to the second one they included also. You will notice it start to dim to the point the other LED's look so bright.I have since replaced the player 1 button with a standard arcade button.

First time building my own controller, and it was actually surprisingly very easy. I assumed it was gonna be complicated(I was never that savvy with electronics),but once I saw those lights light up and then used the controller to play on my homemade bartop arcade..my jaw literally dropped and this is very amazing. I'll be buying more for sure!

I was looking at arcade fight stick options for the pc, most notably the 8bitdo and the mayflash. I happened to have some extra wood laying around and decided to just build my own using this kit. I am definitely not disappointed with the end result. The light up buttons look and feel amazing. The joystick is marked "sanwa" so I don't know if it is a legit sanwa or a counterfeit (this does come from china Afterall). One thing that is different from the past EG starts kits that I have purchased is that the switches and the buttons are all in one package. That means that once the switch goes bad you have to replace the whole button. It does make the profile smaller though.

This set of joystick/button/usb controller combination was the perfect set for my budget minded virtual pinball machine. The price for this set was very affordable and the buttons light up and function as they should. Though I’ve used these buttons for everything from coin adding, game start, plunger, nudge and flipper buttons, I might choose to upgrade the flipper buttons in the future for more responsive switch buttons. Overall, the quality is great for the price and the controller board was easy to map using a software such as Joytokey, Antimicro or Xpadder. The responsiveness of the buttons and joystick are acceptable for my likes.

Used them with Visual Pinball, Future Pinball, Popper, and PinballY. Mapping took a little to figure out, some of the software tells you the button number when you press it for learning. Had one bad button in the bunch, but very happy. We beat the heck out of them on some pinball tables when we play. If the video card can handle the resolution, the buttons are zero delay. One note, the provided connection cords are very short for a pinball cabinet. and i spent hours splicing and heat shrinking in new lengths as I couldnt find longer cables to purchase. These also are smaller form factor than the other button types with the separate light extension that you have to daisy chain, so big plus.

They were simple to assemble and easy to follow directions, the buttons light up instantly after plugging into your system. This is my first arcade control panel build, so I decided to use a cardboard box first and everything works flawlessly. I also added a trackball , but unfortunately the box I used was too narrow so I had to put the remaining buttons on the sides, but the kit works great for Mame and arcade games. My only concern was that the joystick did not come with any screws or mounts, so I had to use fan screws to mount the joystick.

This is a great easy to use set for a Raspberry Pi3 project. I choose to build a 3/4 scale cabinet using these. It turned out perfect and look very good. The quality is equal to and maybe even a little better than stock Arcade 1up buttons. These are by DragonRise Inc and work well with a clean retropie image. A great buy!

Wow, these are the brightest lights I've ever used on an arcade cabinet. Not the best quality buttons but exactly what you expect for the price. It all works fine.

found out the buttons will only light up in a different configuration to actual guide, had to check YouTube video for same and video was wrong but look at the comments about the wiring to find the right way to install cables. White buttons received are also smaller than the others with no sticker like other comments, yeah they mentioned u might get version 1 or 2. Stick screws also way to short had to removed the metal plate to install without it. Pain in butt to have to take it all apart for return.

I received the "new" version, which went together quick and easy. Slapped it into an old box in about an hour, and it was immediately recognized by my pc. I found one of the buttons wouldn't press properly, but it disassembled easily and I was able to remove some obvious plastic flash with a hobby knife, whereupon the button was restored to proper working order. Another button simply feels different from the others- "soft" as opposed to "clicky"- but it functioned fine. Lastly, the PCB has a number of 2-pin function ports, purportedly for quickly engaging turbo-fire and clear functions. The kit, however, does not come with any 3-pin (button) to 2-pin (PCB) cables, or any 2-pin cables for that matter, so these ports are not usable out of the box.Altogether a really fun and cost-effective kit for assembling your first arcade stick. Cardboard is surprisingly workable, but I look forward to building a proper enclosure for these parts out of MDF and acrylic (no way am I paying for a prefab arcade stick box).

I used mine with wagnerstechtalk dot com / opencade and it is great! I've built 3 controllers so far, one is a Robotron controller, 1 single-player box and 1 2 player. Pics attached. It's awesome to just be able to print up a new arcade whenever I want, the buttons are inexpensive enough but feel/play very well. I did have one button that didn't work, but I had plenty of others so it wasn't a big deal. I have noticed the manufacturer has changed the wiring recently which I find really dumb. Be sure and check the instructions that come with yours, sometimes the red+yellow wires go on the left, other versions they are on the right. Sure to tick someone off at somepoint, so be sure to watch for that. If you plug them in and the lights don't come in, swap the red+yellow wire to the other side and you'll be fine. Other than that, still worth every penny!

It's just the pieces, and you need to put it into a box of some sort. Works great with PC/Samsung A5/ Raspberry pi. Lots of fun.
