I ordered one of these incubators and when it came the cord was defective. It was an DC/AC voltage cord and whenever i plugged it in to an outlet it would flip a breaker. I quickly received a replacement- customer service was great. But, even the replacement incubator has issues. It does not matter what I set the temperature or humidity at. There are 5 different egg settings with one being a custom setting. I have my custom setting on 37.3 C and 45 humidity. No matter how many times I change it, or what parameters I set the alarms to. This incubator is constantly at 38.1 C and 50 humidity. I cannot get it to be where it is supposed to be. Also- I thought the water bottle feature would be great for humidity control. It does not come with a bottle and it does not fit a standard water bottle size. I have yet to find what fits to use It. overall I would pick a different one if I could.

At first my humidity kept dropping like other reviews said. Then I added a bottle like shown in the picture, and no more issues. If you don't have a bottle you can plug up some vent holes and that will help some, but without the bottle I was needing to open and spray inside once a day. With the bottle, no issues. Overall works great!

The candler light isn’t the best but it works. I thought but wasn’t positive on day 7 candling, that I had two that weren’t fertilized. I didn’t candle again after that to confirm so I left them until the end. I candled again before discarding them after the rest hatched. The little spray bottle I feel is the most important. I just used hot tap water to moisten the eggs. This helps the eggs to not shrink wrap the chicks inside. I sprayed them before leaving in the morning, at 3 pm and 8 pm.Be sure to stay close after lockdown, day 18.Day 21, When chicks start hatching the humidity fluctuates greatly. Just a tiny space for 12 chicks. I removed the tape covering the vent holes at this point. I waited for the humidity alarm to sound before removing empty egg shells to make room and try to avoid the shrink wrap effect on the unhatched.Be patient. I suggest starting the incubator a few days before adding the eggs to be sure you have everything lined out and working properly. Be sure to unplug to start the day counter over before adding eggs. For the water reservoir, my bottle didn’t screw on/didn’t fit the threads. I set it up anyway and tilted it just a tad to get water to fill the reservoir inside. Maybe they should supply a water bottle that fits. And note that you should have tape to cover the vent hole’s temporarily.

Then incubator is very user friendly and pretty much dummy proof with its sensors in place to automatically adjust air temp and humidity. The alarms will let you know when to add water if humidity levels drop. The only con I have is the candling light isn’t as powerful as I feel it should be. Other than that, it’s a great incubator and worked flawlessly. 100% recommend

So first off It looks great and I had high hopes for it. So it heats up great and gets close to the temperature you needed to be (I used to hygrometer/ thermometer to make sure it was where it needed to be.). It was very close but where this thing struggled was the humidity control. It has no vents you can control second there’s two little holes on opposite sides that I think someone else here covered and that helped which it did. Another thing to notice is that where the motor for the turner is it has a hole where humidity escapes from so you have to cover that also. The alarm is great and all but there should be a button where you can shut it off because it gets kind of annoying after a while. HUMIDITY IS IMPORTANT AND THIS THING STRUGGLES. So beware of that if you want something that is great for beginners this probably isn’t it because this takes time to figure out . Overall it’s going back because this isn’t going to do it for me.

I have been through 2 incubators so far. Both lasted through 3 hatching then a part broke and that was it.I like features on this one that make it fool proof basically. This is well made with strong material. It turns the eggs automatically, has water bottle (we use a 20 Oz soda bottle), that doesn't have to be filled daily. The alarm sounds if any humidity or temperature goes too low or too high. Great feature for sure. I like this unitI saw that wheel that turns the eggs quit turning. It seems a piece of egg shell got in the cogs n wouldn't let it turn. This is a great little incubator

One star because I couldn’t give it a lower rating. Humidity would not stabilize we tried using a bottle and adding ourselves. It would go up to 45 percent then drop to 20 in 30 minutes. After being plugged in for 15 days it completely stopped working. We bought several different incubators in December to have them ready for hatching and reviews for our YouTube channel so by the time we got started using it the 30 return policy was past. Second worst out of ten we are currently testing with a zero percent hatch rate
