I own multiple Eileen West cap sleeve nightgowns in different fabrics. They all have a nice generous comfortable fit. Unfortunately, there is a big difference in the durability of the different fabrics. The cotton knit gowns wash and wear well. I also have two cotton/modal gowns that are several years old, and they look like new. The problem is with the ones labeled 95% modal/5% spandex. Even when washed on the gentle cycle and dried on low heat, this fabric does not hold up. It pills. If you want lasting knit fabric gowns, stick to "cotton/knit" or "cotton/modal."
