Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That master piece is then used to create a mould master. Once the mould master is created we use our high density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, light weight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high density urethane and not vacuum formed, "plastic" type medallions. - Medallions can be cut using standard woodworking tools to add a hole for electrical or a ceiling fan canopy. - Medallions are light weight for easy installation. - They are fully primed and ready for your paint. If you have any questions feel free to ask. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment.

It looks great! I had to cut the center to make it a little bigger and it was very easy. Highly recommend. It very much elevates the space.

Love it! Had to modify to work as it was smaller than the box, but easy to do and results are beautiful!

Incredible, looks like a million dollars. Painted it to match my ceiling and looks original to the house.

We love the final look! How I painted it1) Foundation - Paint it gold, brass or as I did, copper. Let it dry.2) Make the glaze - Go to the paint shop and pick the color you want and have your paint tech mix that color in a base with no titanium. Some stores call this "neutral base," some call it "deep base." Just make sure it has no titanium (what they use to make paint white). Your paint tech might tell you that if he makes your color with the neutral base it won't cover well but that's a good thing for what we're doing.3) Brush on this "glaze" but right away and very lightly wipe away some of the glaze with a dry cloth. This the "artistic" part of the job. Basically act like you're dusting it, hitting primarily the high spots.

I bought the light off Amazon because of the price. This medallion looks beautiful and makes a statement while not spending too much! I love the size and while it is lightweight, it looks perfect!

I purchased three of these ceiling roses. After hand painting with a small brush, they are an essential element in a traditional room.

So easy to install, if you aren't bothered by the idea of disconnecting and reconnecting the electrical lines, and can hold up a possibly heavy chandelier.I used just the canopy to hold it up, and didn't bother with any adhesive. And haven't painted it...looks just perfect as it is. The wife, with all the home decorating savvy in the family, LOVES it.

This medallion is nicer than I imagined. It’s lightweight, but quite sturdy. It looks like expensive plaster but was a fraction of the cost of plaster. It arrived primed and ready for paint. The crystal chandelier I bought has some silver on it so I painted the medallion white, then used a wash of dark gray on it that I wiped back and only left in crevices, then highlighted with silver gilt. I can’t wait to hang it. I will submit more pics after it is hung with the chandelier. Other reviewers state that the escutcheon of their light can hold it up without glue or nails, so that is how I plan to Install it.* I added a photo of it mounted with the chandelier. Absolutely stunning. I did not glue it to the ceiling, the escutcheon is holding it in place.

Looks as expected - it's off white so if you are not painting it - it will look cream NOT white on your ceiling.

Quite nice. Takes paint easily. Install with adhesive caulk and trim head screws.
