I am using this as a floating shelf/ on a wall. I sprayed it black and the finish is nice and clean. My concern was if the Corbels bubble when painted, no problem.

Just arrived....fast. it looks good, light, but not sure how I'm going to hang it up. May use a z clip, key hole fastener, or something similar. Need it to be very sturdy as I'm using it for a soap/lotion dispenser in the bathroom. Worst case will drill through and patch.

I ordered two corbels and both came with visible imperfections. One is being returned because the corner detail is completely broken off, I'm hoping the replacement is better than the two I have received so far. I would not order these again.

I love the style that those corbels add to your place. I wasn't sure about the quality so I just order one at first to make sure. They are very good quality with a perfect finish, no weird edges or cuts. so I ordered 2 more to complete my room. They are light and are easily "workable", meaning that you can drill, patch, sand...without breaking them. I needed to hide a wire inside and the job was easy. I used them underneath my crown molding and need to install some more crowns around them to complete the job.
