There is 25 ft. of 1x4 pine here in the verticals and 3 ft. in the horizontals for one shutter. There are 2 shutters. at a lumber yard price of. 75 cents per running foot Total cost for materials for a pair is $37.50. Anyone with a saw can make a pair in half an hour. I just finished making 15 pairs the same size. Think folks $37.50 against $407.50. Oh I almost forgot. I used 20 cents worth of drywall screws to screw the horizontals on.
