Are these good quality? Yes. Do they hold up in outdoor bowling? Also yes. Is the carrying bag equally high quality? Yes, indeed. All that being said: I cannot justify paying $120 for this set for any reason. Is the wood nicely polished? Sure. Good quality wood? Yeah. But do these really make a game worth paying that much for? In my opinion: no. Maybe your opinion varies. You can certainly get just as good a set (if maybe not as good looking) for a lot less.If someone was going to get me these as a gift I'd much rather they get me a more standard $50 lawn bowling set and give me the extra $70 than spend $120 on this set. They could even just buy me the $50 set and save the $70 for themselves. I'm not a professional bowler, but I feel like even a pro would prefer you get them a real bowling ball or something similar than pay so much on this set. Overall, do not recommend.

I can't get over how well crafted this lawn bowling set is. The wooden pins are just beautiful -- like, almost too nice for a backyard game beautiful! They're very nicely turned and finished, the paint and colors on them are excellent, and they're heavy enough that I could probably use them for home defense if nothing else is handy :). The whole set comes in an attractive and well made bag for carrying them, and we've already had hours of fun playing lawn bowling with our family and friends.

Comes with extra sturdy carrying case, which my wife tells me has quite a manufactured smell. The Pins and Ball are solid wood. Size is nice. Balls fit well in the palm of your hand. The were very unstable in our yard. You will need to find a short grass very even area, as the pins fall over VERY easily. A better idea might have been to weight the bottoms of the pins.It worked quite well on our cement patio.Fun for both adults and kids. You ones make for good pin resets to keep from running back and forth :-)Great fun on Trips and picnics.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________*It is an honor for me to be a Vine Voice. Beautiful wood, and lasting quality! This fun game is built to last, and reminds me of yard toys my Grandparents had when I was a kid, that were around for more years than anyone remembers. If they are taken care of like my Grandparents took care of their things, meaning to put them back in the bag and throw them in the corner of the garage after using, then for sure they will be around for a hundred years easy.

This was soooo much fun! It's great to have a new sport outside. The camaraderie and the team aspect make this game enjoyable and playable anywhere. While it's built for outdoors, we had a blast playing this in the hallway as well when it was raining out one day. The case is durable and the pins and balls are also great. Purchase this with confidence!

I’ve gotten really into bowling over the last few months so, naturally, I figured this would be a fun yard game to have. Unfortunately, real bowling doesn’t translate to the lawn too well. The good: The actual pins and balls are beautifully made. Excellent craftsmanship. The storage/carrying case is well made and sturdy too. The bad: Tall objects with a small base footprint (the pins) don’t stand up too well on grass and are quite unstable when they do, as you can imagine. They need something flat, like a piece of wood, to stand in well. The problem with that is when the ball hits that base material, the entire thing shakes and knocks the pins over. Not to mention the edge of the board catches the ball as it rolls in. The best option would be something like a sand pit, like horseshoe pits… which I do not have. One other gripe I have is that it doesn’t come with any sort of template or anything for positioning the pins. You’re just supposed to eyeball it, which makes every frame pretty different and not a consistent challenge for each player. Honestly, these would probably be better being used as a decoration/display in an office or something, because they really are beautiful. But for the hefty price tag, these things cause more frustration than I’d like if you actually try to use them out on the lawn.

This whole set is just so beautiful and unique. This is made with some luxury style in mind. I got this for a kids party and the kids loved it as much as the adults did. Good solid fun. Comes with 2 balls all the pins and a travel bag. Very very good quality set that I highly recommend.

Mostly nicely made, well turned, and with enough heft to stand up in the grass. It has a handy carry-all. Could make a fun housewarming gift for the new home homeowner. Two negatives that aren't deal breakers: the company logo is lasered onto each pin, and it's not consistent quality (see photo), and also the game didn't come with instructions as to how to set up a court for a proper game. It's easy to set up, of course, for a casual game. And instructions for lawn bowling are available on the internet.
