We bought this to replace the elastic on an exercise trampoline. It was easy to cut and tie.

I bought this to wrap around the vinyl portion or my pop up truck camper. It helps the vinyl stay snug , and move to the inside when I collapse the top of the camper. I could think of many uses for this elastic shock cord. So far, it has lasted 3 seasons on my camper and shows no signs of fraying, stretching or discoloration. Would highly recommend.

I got a bunch of different widths and lengths of this stuff - used it everywhere for everything, outdoors stuff mostly. The ubiquitous 550 cord is good enough but, get bankline if you’re going ultra light and use this stuff for everything else.Don’t be THAT guy, just consuming 💩 on/from YouTube and think cargo pants and 550 cord is going to save you from whatever it is you’re preparing for.Again -> bankline and shock cord.Bankline holds knots infinitely better than that 550 stuff, it’s rated for more than you will ever need AND it’s lighter/smaller = more portable. For shelters and tents, this is where shock cords rule supreme.I promise you, I have done more rucking/hiking & camping in the last 6 months than you have done in your entire life.I do 11 miles per day as a minimum, one marathon per week minimum and, all of it with a pack on.You don’t.You should.Once you actually start carrying around all the crap YouTube tells you to carry…you’ll see what I mean.

Stuff is great for making cords any size you need. One thing I found out fast is to use this if you want hooks buy the next size up. Bought some 3/8th hooks and its all but impossible to use them. Bought 1/2 hooks and you just make a loop, push it through the bottom of the hooks and over the hook, then pull it back. Now its locked and will not come back out. Stuff is tough and has LOT's of stretch.

It is bungee cord - what can I say! It worked well for the task we had for it (lacing in a tarp on the back wall of my side-by-side). It was more than I needed for the first project and now I have enough for my next chore!
