Took my friends Bex Gear kit Flying V (from Amazon) and basically trashed all the hardware and heavy neck as the frets refused to seat properly (turns out their fretboards are molded plastic). Doing weight reduction, ergonomics, neck, complete hardware swap. This neck is surprisingly well built and dropped the weight dramatically. That said I have to do minimal woodworking to get the heel to fit but I knew what I signed up for to get this Frankenstein playing again. Well worth the money, will update on how she holds tune once the hardware is in and truss settled.

This was on me. I should have looked at details in the measurements. Can't use it on the body I planned on. Very nice neck as far as esthetics. Seems well built. Going to take some time finding a body to fit it, that has the right size heel pocket and not pre-routed at the bridge. Going to need a fairly blank slate.
