I used this once and it was great. I used it again and mid use i smell a plastic scent and it lights up from inside and starts smoking. So I don't recommend purchasing

This mixer started smoking on the 2nd use. I was mixing a standard box cake mix & it bogged down. It was easy to use. I liked how the beaters came out by pressing the dial down. I was disappointed in how long it lasted.

I ordered this mixer to replace one I have that is probably on its way out. I thought it would be a one-to-one replacement, but unfortunately it is not. I like that this mixer has 7 speeds, a dough hook, and an egg white separator. That’s quite impressive for a small hand mixer; however, the hooks are like a mini version of the one I currently own. Since I bake a lot, I don’t think this mixer will be suitable for my needs as a replacement, but I can use it as a backup for now. To eject the hooks, you have to press down on the speed selector. There are no words on the mixer to suggest that is how you eject the hooks, so I had to look at the directions to figure that out. It does fit easily in my small kitchen drawer so it’s convenient to access when I need it.
