My older Nesco slicer died and I figured why not upgrade to a commercial slicer. Right out of the box it took less than five minutes to get it setup and another five minutes to get it dialed in and adjusted. It has plenty of power and works great. It's super easy to used and I was able to get a 9 pound ham sliced up pretty thin in less than ten minutes. The only drawback is that you will need a Philips screw driver to get the blade off for cleaning and it definitely takes longer to get it all cleaned up properly, but that's to be expected when dealing with a slicer of this type.
