The cover fits on tight but easy to take off as it has a groove to use your nail to pry it off. The 3 speed nail trimmer feels great and leaves no trimmings behind. There's no safety lock. The file feels like a medium grit and also has 3 speed settings and works great. It has an odd shape but surprisingly it feels good in hand.

It's not your typical clipper; it's more of a precision filer that nibbles away at nails, making it a handy tool for babies and seniors alike. With one end for trimming and the other for filing, it keeps my nails in tip-top shape.I did hit a snag when a nail got stuck, but I'll chalk that up to not fully reading the instructions or seeing the onboard light. For longer nails, I'll probably clip them the old-fashioned way first before using this device to shape and finish up with a traditional file for the finer details.Although it takes on more of a filing role, its USB rechargeable feature, 3-speed options, and compact design make it a cut above the rest. The safety features really hit the nail on the head—capturing nail bits without any hassle. It's perfect for keeping my nails polished and well-groomed. While it works wonders for precision, I'll still team it up with traditional tools to ensure a well-rounded manicure experience.

Great for trimming fingernails. Makes trimming fingernails a pretty fun experience. It is too wide for trimming toenails. You can use it for toenails, but it is not a fun experience. It grinds away little by little of the nail. There are two ends. One for trimming, and the other for filing. The bits of trimmed nails are held inside a compartment that can be emptied when after each trimming session.

I always feel nervous when clipping the nails for my little one, and this one is a breeze to use.First use the grinding side to grind the nail. It may feel intimidating for kids, but when they realize it does not hurt, it become fun.The nails after the grinding feel rough, so you use the other side to polish the nails.The storage bin has all the shaves so you don't have to deal with the clippings everywhere.

What a great alternative to clipping and then filing. There is even a compartment the stores the nail filings until you empty it. USB chargeable and seems to hold a charge well. While I haven't yet tried it, I don't think this clipper will work on toenails -- they are too large.

Pretty cool way to grind/shape your nails with ease. I still prefer the cut and file method because I like to shape it a little differently, but I'll still use this.

This is very gentle and the lowest setting is strong yet quiet. I didn't notice the storage bin was open on my first use of the clippers, and my nail shavings--which were surprisingly plentiful despite not taking that much off--went everywhere. But once I closed that, it was great. The storage bin is easy to empty, but a bit difficult to open once you click it into the fully closed position.My favorite part is the polishing end. I find it difficult to manually file in only one direction as is recommended for nail health, so this is fantastic for smoothing the edges. It's hard to shape your nail any other style than round, but this is fast and easy to use for all ages.

This is little device is great! It took me a bit to figure out how to use it. I thought the clipper part functioned like a manual clipper and cuts the nail. It doesn't. You essentially insert your nail into the slot and it grinds away your nail instead of cutting it. It works great because your nails will be perfectly curved. You just insert one end of your nail and slowly rock it to the other side. The grinder goes all the work. Great for people who weakened strength. It also stores the nail dust and you can empty it out periodically. No more messing nail cuttings to clean up. There are 3 speeds to choose from but I find the highest / fastest setting does the trick. The unit is a little on the larger size but its not too bad.
