Pretty good, it’s very portable due to its size, all you gotta do is connect it and it’s works, and the sharpen quality is alright for the price.

Worst pencil sharpener ever! Don’t waste your money. I tried it on regular pencils and colored pencils and neither worked. It sharpened a small part of one side but left most of the wood covering the pencil.

My sister got me hooked on adult coloring books (not R+ rated, lol, just really detailed images), and I use colored pencils a lot for those coloring books. Having a sharp point is essential for the fine details. This sharpener works well on some pencils, but not all. For example on Crayola colored pencils it chews it up and the sharpener bogs down and won't work well. I don't know if this is due to that particular wood or the coating on the outside of the pencils. But on many of the other colored pencils I have (not Crayola brand) it does just fine and works very well. So just be aware that your mileage may vary, depending on the type and brand of pencil.

Every time I use this pencil sharpener, then pencil comes out perfectly the first time. Of course, this will depend on the quality of your pencil as well, but taking that out of the equation, know that this sharpener will do what you want it to. You have a choice of using it on batteries or plugged in. Since it's always going to be on my desk, I opted to plug it in - why waste money on batteries? The shaving compartment comes off easily and doesn't make a mess, which is a nice bonus.

It's hard to sharpen a pencil with this sharpener. It uses a single straight blade instead of a rotary helix cutter, and the straight edge of the blade tends to cut too deeply into the wood of the pencil, jamming the whole process. When the blade grabs the wood, it can snatch the pencil from your fingers and leave a groove gouged in the wood. By playing with the amount of pressure on the pencil, it is possible to get the sharpener to work for most pencils (I had one that would not sharpen), but this can eat of a lot of time and a lot of pencil. The cuts, when sharp, are mostly even, but not always. Two stars is generous for the effort involved.

I recently purchased the Electric Pencil Sharpener, and unfortunately, my experience has been mixed at best. While the concept of a USB and battery-operated sharpener is convenient, the performance hasn't lived up to my expectations.Initially, it worked well for sharpening pencils, but it quickly started to struggle with softer pencils, leaving them unevenly sharpened and sometimes stuck in the mechanism. Additionally, I found the build quality to be lacking; the plastic feels flimsy, and I worry it won’t hold up over time, especially with kids using it in a school setting. The noise level is also higher than I anticipated, making it a bit disruptive in quieter environments like a classroom or home office.Overall, while the sharpener had promise, the performance and durability issues have led me to be disappointed with this purchase. I can't fully recommend it based on my experience.
