These electric pruning shears are great! I used them to cut branches and shape a few bushes with no trouble. The brushless motor is strong, and the battery lasts a good amount of time. Definitely a useful tool for heavy-duty trimming.

All I can say is wow, the power of this thing has is frightening. It's a great kit for pruning branches and shrubs and stuff. Takes a little getting used to using, holding the button down to turn it on and off and such, but I really appreciate it goes into sleep mode and shuts off by itself. Digital display gives you a nice indicator of battery power, first time I've seen that on one of the smaller tools. I expect the two battery packs would let you trim up hundreds of branches, I used one pack for a while and it didn't run down enough to be noticeable. Nice to include a spare blade as well.My hardcore first test of this tool was a well-dried oak stick about an inch thick, and this tool cut through it like it was nothing. I made four or five other cuts with similar results, no hesitation at All by the tool even on really hard wood. On green branches it cuts through like butter. No complaints at all.One side note, it has a way of setting the opening size, about half open or full open, you do it by sort of double bumping the power switch. But honestly, I can't really envision bothering to set it to the small setting unless you're trying to get inside of some shrub for detail work. The large opening isn't so big has to be cumbersome, and it works fine no matter what the branch size small or big.

This is a nice pruning shear that works great for smaller diameter branches. The instructions are straightforward and tell you what you need to do to operate it. It cuts the branches quickly and with little effort. The kit has a very nice case that holds the 2 batteries, charger, sharping stone and blade replacement tools. The led display shows you how much battery is left and how many cuts you have made.

This is a handy tool for pruning in those hard-to-reach areas where a long-handled "lopper" has a hard time reaching. It works really well, for instance, pruning all the little shoots growing in the middle of my Lillac trees. It's easy to use and seems to be made pretty well, and I love the fact it has a brushless motor.It comes with 2 batteries, which themselves don't have battery meters, but the pruner itself has a battery strength indicator on the tool itself, and it's illuminated, so that's pretty nice. It also comes with a spare blade (!), as well as a sharpening stone which, unfortunately, arrived broken because it wasn't secured very well in the case. So, at the very least, the tool is serviceable, which goes a long way for a tool's longevity.My only complaint is that is uses a "plug-in" charger that is a bit on the pokey side, rather than a proper charger that you actually slide the battery on. A high-output proper charger would have made this 5 stars, but at least it comes with 2 batteries to help negate the pokey charger. 4 stars, and a recommended buy if you want to make your pruning chores a lot less labor intensive.

The instructions are a little odd as it looks like there's a separate charger but it's just the power cord that plugs into the battery. Mounted the battery and it worked. I'll update if there's a problem.
