You cannot add to the block database. Anything you creat in EQ stays outside this database. It was unclear in the description that you can only export the cutting machine files for the included block. I only bought it because I wanted to import a block so I could export the cutting files for my machine. I talked to EQ help and they are aware of the need for this feature and may add it in the future. The basic blocks and information for them are good if you do traditional quilts. Just not what I was looking for.Pretty easy to load for EQ. If you can get it on sale it's a good value.

For the price, this is very limited in functionality. I am using a Mac and wanted to be able to integrate it with EQ8. I can't do that unless I am using a virtual machine running Windows. I will not be doing that so I was hoping I could export a file in a format that I can import into EQ. It is mindboggling to me that I cannot do that. I can only export as image files, but not as files that can be imported and used in EQ.So it does have interesting quilt blocks with good information about each, but I just don't see using it if I can't use it along with EQ8

I was a bit concerned about buying from a seller that didn’t use Amazon Prime. However, the software was delivered before the tracking software even updated! Additionally, the seller quickly responded to my question so I will happily use this seller again. The software is stand alone and is about the same price as 3 patterns, so I consider it to be a great buy. I love that I can print the patterns in any size I need. Now, I just need EQ8 to round out my quilting library. Highly and happily recommend this product and seller!

I have EQ. Most of the same blocks are the same in both programs. If I had to do again, I would have only bought the block package.

Was disappointed, main program wont open without internet, took on vacation as driving through Canada.We had no internet for 7 days. Couldnt use it at all now the stinking block base is the same way. I paid enough for this it should work out of the box. Delivery good, not happy with product.
