Don't be the reason your equipment comes unplugged or someone trips! This piece is easy to use over and over, effective at cord protection... and great for its fit and durability.

We have had these across the entrance to our parking lot for about 1.5 years now. Full sun exposure, snow, rain, multiple UPS and FedEx comings and goings daily, our forklift occasionally and just today, a dump truck full of road base. These cable protectors are outstanding. Even with all that traffic and not being bolted or pinned to the ground, we only have to kick them back in a straight-ish line every couple weeks. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them.

I bought 4 of these which I connected together. I needed them to run across the width of my driveway to conceal power cables for my dual automatic Driveway gate wiring. Have had heavy trucks come in and out and also the usual traffic in and out of the driveway with multiple vehicles daily. These things are extreme, very heavy duty and do exactly what we needed. Each one is heavy, rugged durable. Have had these for some time now and there look brand new like no wear and tear, they can also act like a small speed bump, absolutely worth every penny and kept me from having to trench out my asphalt drive, install conduit to run wire and re-asphalt.. Very smart and positive purchase, you will be very satisfied, when I ran Christmas lights to the far side of the driveway I even had another slot to run those extension cords, awesome, love them, Thanks.

UPDATE: Still good 3 years later. The flaps are cracking a bit but still holding up. Even if the flaps failed the channels are deep enough I would probably just keep on using them.I have my RV 30 amp cord 3/4 inch and a fat 1 inch heavy duty hose for my macerator running through a pair of these where my RV is hooked up outside my house so I can get in and out of the garage. The channels are plenty wide and deep and they seem to be plenty sturdy. Beats unhooking everything by a mile.I really didn't notice the smell others have mentioned, but then mine are outside. They just smell sort of like it does in a tire shop when you first take them out of the box.

I use it for protecting the cable of a Tesla Wall Connector installed in my garage whenever I unfold the cable for charging. The cable coming out of the charging station, although relatively large, fits perfectly in any one of the two channels. This way, the cable does not run directly on the floor surface and no one can step on the cable itself while the connector is plugged into the car.

These cable guards work great! Strong, durable and well made, these guards survived rain, mud and a number of trucks driving over them. Easy to use as the cables just drop right in and are easy to remove as well. The only drawback is when they first arrive. They retain a heavy manufactured rubber smell that doesn't go away quickly! Advise: put them outside for several days and wash them before attempting to use them indoors or a closed space. I have had mine for several weeks now and the smell has diminished greatly. Again, great product but use outdoors only for the first few weeks!

Good product. Does what it is designed to do and it's heavy; this protects cables that have to go through areas of traffic.I currently have 120VAC flex conduit and a bunch of Cat5e and Cat6 data cables running through the channels. It has two channels so you can separate low voltage and high voltage. The channels are also very spacious (1-1/8"W x 1-1/8"H).I would not run anything that can have a lot of amperes through this since it does not come with UL ratings and I don't know the tonnage limit of what can go over it before it fails. It'll stand up to standard vehicles including work trucks. I have not tried this with fully loaded commercial vehicles, haulers, or heavy machinery; do so at your own risk. The odor of the rubber is quite strong, but it goes away after a week or two in an open area. A drawback of this product is that it does not have mounting holes to drill it to the ground but since it's hard rubber you can easily drill out some holes.

It's built very well, and does what it is designed/made for. The materials will most likely withstand most harsh environments, however, I am using this in an office that has very few outlets and the fire marshal advised us to stop daisy-chaining the extension cords to get power out to an open space. We bought a 16-outlet strip with a 15-feet cord and now are in conformance to the local code. The cable extends from an outlet in an office to the open area, and travels across a walkway. This ramp is a bit over-specified but does the job well. Highly visible and extremely rugged. Curiously, the product let out a very strong stench (chemical smell) for a week or so, and can still be detected after a few months. It is probably the chemical they use to separate the product from the mould that makes the product, but I wished the factory would have prepped/cleaned it for indoor use as well (thus the minus one star). Other than that, the flap works well, and everything fits. The channels are big enough for several power cables and even a few network cables with room to spare. I have another one on standby, in the event we need to replicate the code-conforming retrofit elsewhere. If I need more of these beasts, I would buy this product again without hesitation (alas, with a good scrubbing before putting it to use indoors).

The expression you get what you pay for is true here, these are pricey but they are worth it. Strong, tough construction, nice wide channels which hold our wiring well and with two channels in each they do that job well. We use them in our television studio to call attention to the cables running to our cameras. They don't make it any easier to walk over than just the cable but they eliminate the trip hazzard.
