I’m using these in an Egnater Tweaker 15 head. I bought the matched quad so I’d have a couple of spares. I picked two at random, put them in my amp, let them warm up, and checked the bias. Dead on perfectly matched. Identical cathode current and plate voltage. The sound is nearly identical to a pair of nos jan rca 6v6gty I own. Amazing tube for the price. Noticeable improvement over the stock Ruby tubes. They are supposed to be able to take a lot of voltage (one online tube store says 475V), but I’m running them at 357V, and they’ve got great compression, bass response, and complex harmonics that really brought my amp to life.

Worked and sounded great, for a couple of months...This was in a magnavox console amp that puts extremely low strain on its power tubes, the previous set was installed in 1958, I decided they were due for a swap after nearly fifty years in service to go with a recent recap. I know its unfair to compare the quality of modern tubes with vintage ones, and I may have gotten a bad set, but these failed basically as soon as the return period was over and I was left highly disappointed.

Sharp sound, nice Treble. They just lack of a little bit of "warm".
