I don't do reviews. But, this item is rated too low. That's a function of few reviews and unfair complaints.I haven't had the unit long but, it fits my requirements well. It has all the usual functions (inside, outside, depth etc.). Accurate and repeatable measurements. Comes in a nice compact case for a fair price.The item doesn't come with a battery. Clearly noted in the description. Luckily it takes the very common LR44 battery. I picked up a couple at the corner store. Battery size is also clearly described.This is a 2 inch caliper. 1st. sentence in the description. If that's too small for your needs, purchase a larger unit.

No battery comes with this POS, so I have to go out and GUESS and buy one because the instructions just say "1 1.5v button cell."

This is a cute little digital caliper. In my testing, it takes accurate and repeatable measurements. A battery was not included, and since it takes a special button battery (76A) which I did not have, I had to buy one to use the caliper; the product description DOES note that a battery is not included, but I missed that warning when ordering the caliper. My only real complaint is that the caliper is small: the maximum measurement is 2.25".

Small and accurate. Tends to get turned on in my pocket, so I keep an extra battery.

Handy little micrometer. I use alot of micrometers and have never had this small of one until now. It will easily fit into a shirt pocket. Its as accurate as all my others. Only issue is it didnt come with a battery either inside the unit or in the case. Directions show it uses a 1.5v battery but doesnt identify which type battery. fortunately I had some spare batteries from my other mics that worked.
