I've owned a few other versions of these mini digital scoreboards and so far, this one has been the best one.The remote is clearly labeled and easier to use (I had one version where they just recycle like an univeral remote that had a ridiculous amount of irrelevant buttons before)I love that you can increase the score quickly by not just one increment, but two.I like that it is clearly also marked HOME/GUEST with different colors; you can also adjust the brightness.I also appreciate that the sound can be muted.This is perfect for my basketball games or table tennis, etc.I just wish these things had self-contained rechargeable battery.

Gone are the days of playing cornhole and trying to remember the score or using pen and paper. This Electronic Score Keeper is definitely a keeper! The unit comes supplied with a charging block, charging cable, a remote control with batteries and mounting brackets along with hardware if you plan on mounting it onto a wall or something. The remote is simple to use and adjusts the score immediately. There is an audible beep that can be turned on or off. The display is really bright and is easily viewable in the dark. My only complaint is that this unit is not rechargeable because then that would make it absolutely perfect. I don't mind using the cable, but I think it would be that much better if it was rechargeable.

replaced battery with new and no connection to the item - useless - will return.
