These are really nice, informative, laminated sheets of info beneficial to anyone with Kidney Disease. I got them for my grandma who has kidney disease. They have a lot of beneficial information about good and bad foods and also recipes with pictures of every meal, which is great. These reference sheets make it very easy to keep track of what is good and bad for Kidney Disease. Very glad I got these.

This good-quality information sheet provides healthy diet information to manage kidney disease better. I got it for my sister, who is caring for my father, who has kidney disease due to diabetes. One of the most challenging things about having CKD is having a renal diet. This sheet provides information on serving size, potassium, sodium, phosphate, protein, and calories for different food items, which are very important to monitor and prevent the progression of CKD. It would have been even better if it had calcium and magnesium content information. My sister and mother like it because it helps them prepare a renal diet. It would have been more helpful if they had referenced where they got the info.

I actually ordered this just for everyday health purposes. I did not pay attention to the fact that this was leaning towards people who have kidney disease. But I found the information to be so helpful that it could work with preventing kidney disease. It had lots of good information about how to stay healthy, what to eat, and how to balance the proper foods in your life. So even if you don't have kidney disease, I think it's a very helpful set of information to maintaining your health.

I was hoping this kidney food reference guide would be more enlightening. It seems like it is geared to someone who does not know anything about food groups. It is pretty generic. Also, it uses scientific abbreviations for sodium, potassium, and phosphorus levels in various foods but nowhere does it explain what those abbreviations mean. I had to google them to understand what was what. Overall, I feel this could be improved upon.

I wasn't able to get a good glimpse at this before I ordered it to see if it really was going to work out in my favor or not and I'm a little disappointed now that I've actually got it in my hand. The printing of the paper is top notch quality and the color and images are crisp and clear, my only issue is about the information that's being displayed. It said that some things are good for kidneys and to ask for more of it but it also landed in the don't eat more of it section on the other side. So it's a little bit more contradictory than I think I would have hoped. Additionally, it also listed some things as being good for kidneys that actually aren't good for kidneys or highly recommended to not ingest on a regular basis if you do have kidney disease, so I can't really trust this list without having to go through an earmark things as good or bad because the list is not really as good as the research that I've already poured into my condition.

For anyone struggling with what foods to eat with kidney issues, this is very helpful. I have both types of kidney stones and this has helped with knowing what foods to eat that don’t cause problems. The print is not too small either. I refer to this when planning my meals and it makes it much easier
