My dog splashes while drinking. This product keeps the floor dry. My only complaint is algae grows on the grate if it's left wet too long.

The picture is a little deceiving, as this is definitely for small dogs. However, I have no complaints because my dogs are chihuahuas and it's the perfect height for them.While it did take two adults to assemble it, it was done in less than 5 minutes. One of my senior Chihuahuas is blind and constantly walks through the water dishes I used to have and would end up spilling water all over the kitchen floor (and ruining my baseboards).The idea is that he will bump into this first because of the walls which will divert him around the unit preventing the dishes from spilling all over the floor. And if the bowls do shake and water leaks, the water will go into a bottom reservoir. Totally worth the price as well! Happy purchase!

This arrived on time. It is exactly as pictured. It works great for our pup. It keeps the area neat and clear of dog food and water splashes.

I'm sure this works well for most dogs but my 25 pound senior Dachshund/Terrier mix is too squat for this medium sized version. The bowls are set too far back into the base of this for him to comfortably drink and get food. He is scared of it because the black edging hits his chest and startles him away from it. I may wind up returning. The bowls are also pretty small for being a medium sized feeding set. For a medium I would have expected them to be a bit larger and deeper. If your dog is a little taller than my dog (about the size of a Corgi) they might be fine with this but if they are shorter and squat like my guy it might be tricky for them to use this specific height.

Ease of assembly. Easy to clean. Keeps floors and walls clean. Dog slops food everywhere when she eats. This is remarkable!

Easy enough to assemble IF all the parts were included! Missing second bowl holder so it’s not secure; it just sits on unit. Both bowls are not the same size either. One is smaller with small capacity. Drawer doesn’t open easily, needs to be manipulated. Not worth price even with “discount”.
