How to be setting Tach RPM Ratio?
1. Turn on the power supply first.
2. Press and hold the mode button for 3 seconds to enter the setting speed ratio mode. then adjust speed ratio from 1-300 according to your request.
3. After setting, Data is automatically saved.
4. Please note: If your sensor is installed on the flying wheel panel, the RPM ratio is equal to the number of gears of the engine; If the speed signal takes from W-Terminal, the RPM ratio is equal to the half of the number of poles.
5. Normally, When the engine at idle state, tachometer shows 600-800rpm that means speed ratio is correct. If not, you can turn down or turn up speed ratio to check RPM difference.

I installed the Tachometer and the Speedometer, Both from Amazon. There are a little different but the same manufacture and the look and work great!! Very accurate and now I can keep track of my running hours, The old hour meter was bad and the new tachometer has one built in. Total hours and trip hours. I do wish the speedometer had a odometer on it.

J'ai été complètement déçu de ce tachometre. Il est impossible à ajuster, les explications sont très mauvaises. Aucun support en ligne disponible. J'ai demandé un retour, c'est à mes frais. 71$ CAD pour le retour en chine quand l'article coûte 60$. Investisser ailleurs.

The instructions were 75% in Chinese and the rest was broken english which did not make sense. I can't get the guage to read the correct revolutions.

This tachometer just plain does not work. I believe the positive reviews are falsified. This unit will most definitely not work with the output signal from an outboard engine which is in hertz. The instructions are abysmal, pictographs or Sanskrit would have been more helpful. This tach has cost me an expensive trip to my marine mechanic. With all the messing around and extended shipping times I have missed the return window for this garbage. The only reason I gave it one star is because negative stars are not an option. I should have spent the extra money and bought a real boat tachometer. It does not work period. The advertisement for this product that it will work on outboard engines is false advertising! Seriously! The frustration, time and expense this product has cost me all because I doubted my abilities to install it! And was vindicated by the validation of a real marine product worked within seconds after installation.DON'T DO IT!

A nice looking gauge, and easy to hook up, but you must order (not supplied ) the flywheel trigger/sensor in order to get a consistent signal. When connected to coil the needle will jump all over the dial. Never encountered a tach that would not work off the coil neg lead. You will need to fabricate some type of mount for the flywheel trigger and enter the number of teeth into the tach menu. It will work fine afterwards.

Completely accurate reading of my RPMs for my mercury 50hp 2 stroke(Adjust easy for accuracy), multiple LED colors to change from, and monitors my engine hours. Don’t really bother with watching “trip” Option as it resets every time I turn off power, but engine hours remain. Easy installation following wiring diagram. Clean, sleek look.
