While it is no substitution for a clean audio signal, it can help improve your bass. The addition of a subsonic filter is a nice addition as many amps lack them and reducing frequencies your speakers and/or subs aren't meant to reproduce can greatly reduce distorting and/or bottoming out and improve power handling. You also get line driver and ground isolation. It's a feature rich unit that looks like premium kit and looks and feels well constructed. Unless you are sinking major bucks into the highest end head units and signal processors, I can't imagine this not helping out your system.

This isn't an equal to the orginal audiocenter epicenter, but considering the cost difference I believe this is a good alternative for most bassheads. Be cautious, you can definitely distort the signal if you try to substitute boost for clean power.

Wow, this is sweet digital bass processing module in my opinion! It was relatively simple to connect to my existing system since I already have a dedicated subwoofer amplifier, and it has been working great with excellent results! I like how simple it is to make adjustments to the switches and controls on the top face of the unit, and the bass output through my subwoofers is now much better than ever before. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of this product, so it receives the top ranking and recommendation from me for sure!

With this bass restoration unit, you will be able to see how much low end you've been missing. Simple installation and setup. Came with good quality RCA cables and a bass knob that can be ran to the front of the car if needed. Personally i didn't use the knob because the unit went inside my center console. Years ago I had a much more expensive item that performed this same task made by Audio Control. I believe this one actually performs better..
