Pair I received were more of a Stubben Tobacco color rather than brown. Will have to darken them up to match my tack.

Since the colors are all the same on the images you’ll never really know what you’re going to get color wise. I ordered mid brown hoping it would match my brown bridle but the color is much closer to a burgundy or red. I really hope I can return them..

Had to punch a couple additional holes for proper fit and leather a bit stiff but will work well.

I like the quality of this item. Very sturdy. The thing I didn't like was that it was very stiff and is the type of leather that has been treated with a coating. It took me a couple of days to oil and condition it so it was a little better. I like broken in leather with out and coating on it.

So far I’ve really liked the new bit set up I purchased. The Jointed Tom Thumb Pelham Bit along with this bit converter has been great for my gelding. He’s a fantastic horse and gentle as can be, but the freedom of a sniffle was to much freedom. This converter allows me to decide which type of bit he’s needing depending on his mood and attitude during our trail rides/arena work. If he’s having a fantastic day and willing to work in sync with me, I can loosen the lower strap for more of a snaffle bit, if he’s decided to be a little more stubborn one day, I can tighten up the lower strap ever so slightly for more of a Tom Thumb bit and gain a little more control. He seems to enjoy his new bit/converter combo. I would highly recommend!
