I had never heard of punch needlework until I came across this kit while putting together a care package for my son’s girlfriend. At first, I thought it was more like embroidery or latch hooking, but it turned out to be its own unique craft. It looked fun and beginner-friendly, so I grabbed it. She was thrilled—apparently, she’d been wanting to try this technique for a while. The bright, simple flower design suits her style perfectly, and the finished piece can be displayed on the included easel or turned into a small throw pillow.The kit comes with all the necessary materials, but the instructions aren’t very detailed, so a true beginner might need additional help to get started. I also wish it came in a box instead of just a bag. I’ve since found another kit with better packaging, so in comparison, I’d rate this one four stars. Still, it’s a great little craft project to try!

It came quickly but the directions are minimal and do not make sense for a beginner. I was not sure how to thread needle or how to manage. Had to look up several videos to help me. Cheap. Would not recommend
