Fairly easy to install. The hardest part was removing the old lock. Happy to have this since my garage does not have a regular door entry if the power goes out and I need to get to my car and supplies.

It was easy to install ,I like the extra security on my garage we have a remote for the doors but sometimes my battery runs low and I have to run out and get some this way I don’t have to do this anymore,it’s very sturdy and the lock is very well made and the key function doesn’t get stuck like most I used in the past.its worth the extra security.

The lock kit is made from quality materials. Installation is straight forward. What's really appreciated is the cost. Instead of paying $50 - $100 for a locksmith to rekey our existing garage door emergency lock, we purchased this kit new for $10. Before purchase, insure your existing lock kit matches and you should have this installed in less than 10 minutes. One piece of feedback to the seller, please provide the size of the two nuts provided. That would speed things up even more.

The man door in my garage is usually blocked by either the lawnmower or the snow blower. If I lose power it's a major chore to get in by pushing on the door. Problem solved!. It installed easily and works as advertised. I covered the lock with some metal foil tape to keep water out. Now that it's in I probably won't ever lose power to the door when I needed.

Very easy to install and there are a ton of videos online how to do it. I wanted to rekey the existing lock and the Lock Smith (very nice of him) recommended this on Amazon which is much less than the cost of rekeying.
