My son broke our folding brown chair and was in search to replace a folding chair. I was never so happy to see a bubble gum folding chair! These are AWESOME! We have guests come over and we can just pull them out. Surprisingly, the 2 purple colored metal folding chairs luckily arrived safely and undamaged, with the long end of the box having NOT been securely sealed. Either that, or the seal of the packaging tape had been cut at the seam at some point all the way across the long end of the rectangular shipping box. No wonder the delivery person put it on my porch area of my house on the long outside bench that was on my porch. They usually leave packages at my door or on the edge of the steps of my porch area. And then when I went to pick up the rectangular box holding the 2 chairs from the bench, the chairs immediately began sliding out/falling out from the bottom, and then it was quite obvious that the long end of the box had not been sealed and enclosed properly at all. They were shipped from a long way away from where I lived. I'm amazed that the chairs even made it to my house with still being inside the box. Both chairs still had their individual light plastic sheath or covering still over them, but the box was virtually wide open on the long end of it, which had became the bottom when it was placed on the bench. So it seems that apparently, all the individuals who had to move and/or load the box with the chairs from place to place, or from vehicle to vehicle, etc., in transporting them must have had to deal with an open-ended, unsealed box, either on all of its journey to my house, or, at least, for a part of it.The chairs were intended as an after-thought addition for part of a poolside setting for a fun-in-the-sun dance piece's ambiance setting placed upstage for a dance show. The setting looked nice with the different choices of furniture and props with a mutiple and a variety of different colors of metal folding chairs with added patio cushions that I had used.I'm happy that all of the other different colored pairs of metal folding chairs that I had also ordered had arrived safely and undamaged and were of a good quality. It was only this pair of chairs that had arrived in an open-ended improperly sealed shipping box, and fortunately, had arrived still in the box and undamaged. All of the other chairs and their shipping boxes that I had ordered had been properly sealed and enclosed, and most to all of them had been ordered from the same merchant or manufacturer.The 2 star rating is for the apparently improperly sealed shipping box for this pair of colored folding chairs.
