This 5-burner cooktop is an amazing upgrade. I like that it can be adapted to propane, which is perfect for outdoor cooking. This is stainless steel, so it can be used in a covered outdoor kitchen without any issues. The cast iron needs to be periodically wiped down with oil to keep it from rusting, so I suggest using something with a high flashpoint, like grapeseed oil. One thing I really like about this is that the burners are sealed. Having the burners sealed means that cleanup is easy, and you don’t have to worry about “stuff” getting down in the burner making things gross or causing a fire hazard.

The cooktop looks nice overall. Bright and smooth stainless steel construction. Thickness feels medium duty. The castiron grates feel lighter weight due to its lack of support bars for pots and pans. Each burner only has 4 bars to support a pot/pan. Which can reduce stability for small pots/pans. The flame looks good and heating power is good. The burners can be tuned if needed to get the optimal flame. Overall its a pretty decent cooktop. A bit on the pricey side comapred with more heavy duty cooktops.

It’s difficult to cook anything on a low setting because it heats up extraordinarily hot really fast. It’s easy to burn things. I don’t like it as much as my previous LG.
