you kindof have to guess how the burners are assembled to get them correct and to light properly

I really like my new stove top stove. There's a little bit of a learning curve of keeping the burners on. After mastering that, it's fine. I enjoy cooking on it.

Very easy to install and operate. Absolutely love it. I do recommend it yet finding the gas regulator was a bit of a hassle to get but above all, amazing.

This product doesn't contain any documentation stating its certified to install in USA with ANSI or CSA in Canada. When asked the owners failed to provide any info supporting their claim it was legal in the states. The product doesn't have a gas regulator either so you have to purchase that separately. Do not install without one. (ie- straight to gas line) They provide no photos of the fittings pre-sale either and a very dangerous Italian rubber gas line "push on" style one is included. If you don't know what you are doing, its dangerous. If its a new install, your gas fitter will need to get a permit. I was replacing an old unit so it was easier b/c all I needed was a hose and fittings. My gas fitter legally couldn't do it for me because a permit is required and you can't get one without SA number. [...] So unless you are comfortable DIY'r, give this one a miss. This product comes in $700 cheaper than Jenn-Air and Sears cooktops. Now I know why. The product itself is very pleasing to the eye and easy to clean. I like the 5 burner layout. However the ignitors take a REALLY long time to get burners to stay lit. The stainless skin is pretty thin and will probably dent if I drop a spoon on it or something. It takes a hold down of the knobs of about 10 seconds. The product shipped quickly and the seller adequately answered my questions regarding the new status of his store in Canada. They also offered to take it back if i was concerned about lack of certification. So its my choice to install it. For me this is a temporary solution for one year until a reno. So for a year, I can live with it. My old Jenn-Airr ran circles around this thing in terms of parts and overall quality.
