Got the caliper and first thing I noticed was the tips of the legs where they wing out for you to measure something looked like they were formed on a grinder. They were burred and one side didn't match the other. They also weren't pointed, but kinda blountly rounded if you know what I mean. I had to reshape them with my bench grinder to get a nice point on them. Also the legs don't meet squarely to one another. They're off by about 1/16" which kinda pisses me off. It will work ok for my application as I'm not really machining with them. I have a set outside empire calipers that are a lot better. Don't know what happened with these.
