Replaced older and mismatched coils in a '05 330CI and these work right out of the box. Time will tell how long they last, but we got no duds, and the car runs great.

These coils are fine and cleared up the misfire. In my experience with 3 different bmw's, coils are basically routine maintenance on these cars and I've had better luck changing all 6 at once even with cheap coils than only replacing 1 or 2 with "premium" coils. Not sure the life of these yet but they for sure work well. This particular set went in a 2012 128i.

I hesitated to do this work myself instead of paying a mechanic to do it. However, YouTube made it look so easy. Well, I’m glad I saved the $500 extra to do the labor because this was literally a 10 minute job. My wife’s BMW is now back up and running.
