I had no issue with this bit only used on polymer but worked great cut though with no problems nice and smooth

The shaft flexes when cutting aluminum. Cant imagine its that hard with as much flex as I am getting. Get what you pay for.

I liked that it did its job without too any problems , dislikes it was my first time working with one and it would bend a little i guess it was because it was to long and my inexperience. but all in all it worked for me.

Well, I ordered these knowing full well it was an 8mm shank. It fit my 8mm collet perfectly of course. It does not fit a 5/16 collet perfectly. This is to be expected with the shank being lasered with 8x8 on it.The cutting width was spot on at 8mm, just like the shank. This is definately not carbide. It's a light color and light weight steel. I would not call it a high quality bit; however, it is a decent bit if you know what you are buying and it fits your purpose.I used mine for roughing hardwood, and it was totally fine. Perfect for this purpose.
