Update:BSN contacted me about my feedback within a few day. After sending a screenshot of my order, they quickly sent out a set of replacement spikes. This is a nice product and I was impressed with customer service!Thank you BSN Sports.Rubber does or I should say, didn't come with the spikes as advertised.It appears to be a sturdy pitching rubber.I would set up a return and order another one but it seems to be hit or miss on getting spikes. My daughter wants to use it now, not when Amazon gets their Sh!+ together and verifies their inventory!

First I feel like I should mention that my order DID included the anchoring spikes, though I did not need them. It seems some other reviewers did not receive the spikes with their order, so it seems worth mentioning.I purchased this for the purpose of making an indoor softball pitching mat. Needing a pitching rubber that could be easily attached to a mat, I thought this end-spiked rubber would fit the bill and it did. I picked up a piece of old 3/16" thick conveyor belt at a local scrapyard and attached the rubber to it with 5/16x3/4" carriage bolts. In total, I have about $40 in this little project. That is a fraction of what most commercial pitching mats cost- and this one is heavy enough that it stays in place.The pitching rubber itself is heavy duty and seems to be very durable so far. My daughter is pitching off of it with turfs, so though I can't comment on how it might hold up to spikes, it seems every bit as durable as our outdoor pitching rubber that we have used for two years..What more can I say- it's a pice of heavy white rubber and it does its job.

I swapped our softball league over to these plates a few years ago and would not go back.They are quick and easy to drop in and/or move. We have three fields that play 8U/10U, 12U, and 14U/16U on them so three different pitching distances. Put all 3 plates in before the games start and just pull them up as the day goes on. Schedule the 10U first, then 12U, and then 14U.They are very durable. I have bought many of these and they last more than a season each.Get the plates with 2 spikes on each end. I tried the ones with 1 spike on each end and they weren't quite as good.The plates with 3 spikes underneath are only good if you don't move them or don't move them a lot. They get damaged more easily during install/uninstall. I had terrible luck with the 3 spike underneath version.We also had the permanent plates at one point that you just moved it and dropped in tracks and covered it back up. They were good, but again... got damaged from frequent moves and the tracks got filled with dirt and hard to get the plate to level if people got in a hurry moving them.Go with these for sure. Even the older pitchers do not displace them when pitching.

This is great quality product at a good price. Daughter is a travel softball pitcher for 3 years and we have been through many pitching plates and this is the best. This one is regulation size, durable and solid. I bought an extra one just in case for future use this deal goes away. Would recommend this product to any softball pitchers out there.

Bought this for my 9 year old daughter to practice pitching. Very sturdy. Like other reviews state - it doesn't come with the bolts or whatever would be needed to secure it to the mound, but it is excellent for us to put out in the yard and her to practice pitching. It feels like an actual rubber used on a softball field.
