Larger slot filled wings better protect covers and water pump without increasing weight, while our new flap on the front keeps the front wheel roost from packing in between the plate and cases. Protects those vulnerable engine cases, covers and frame rails from the elements without being bulky. Vents in the wings let air flow through and mud fall out. Forward flap blocks front wheel roost from packing between plate and cases. Most skidplate applications include holes to let you drain your oil without removing the plate. Built in foot peg mount coverage. Billet aluminum mounting hardware is included. Includes a roll of tape-backed foam to go between the frame and skid plate, eliminating any buzzing or rattling from the contact points. Fits perfect on my wr450. I love how much higher it comes up then the stock plastic one. We like to ride in some jeep trails with our bikes, so this is a must have! Easy to install. Took me about 5 mins.
