Great product. Lots of light and very light to hold. Wonderful when electricity goes out.

Bought it incase of power failure caused by storms. But I imagine its great for Camping too, or the man of the house working on his car late at night. 😃

4AA Battery adapter difficult to install, and never worked. I put in a 6V battery and it did work. Since I wanted the 4AA system, I returned the item. In processing the return, I tried following the "did youtry" information. Was instructed to read the directions. What directions? Non included. That, and three preinstalled AAs and one AA floating loose, makes me think this might have been a repackaged return.

The battery pack was loose and the lamp came off when you pointed it upward. I disassembled it and packed the bottom of it with bubble wrap and it works great now. It’s very bright.

The battery pack with 4 AA batteries can fit 4 different ways and there are no instructions provided. It was installed at the factory in one direction so as not to work and drain the provided batteries. Instead it should have been installed correctly, with the plastic pull out tab which prevents the batteries from working AND instructions.

Good flashlight. It's extremely bright and having the option to use two different battery types is a nice feature. Some reviews mention that when using the cradle with AA batteries it tends to rattle around a bit and occasionally disconnect but this is an easy fix. Just put a rubber band around it to keep the batteries from coming loose and put a small piece of foam or cardboard in the back of the light to keep the cradle secure. However, when simply using an actual 6 volt battery it fits perfectly and will last much longer than the AA's will. The light has great distance and will illuminate a large outdoor area after dark.
