This charger completely drained 3 of my ryobi batteries. Meanwhile I thought I was saving money by getting an off brand but now I have to buy another charger and replacement batteries. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

I lost my charger for my 18V Ryobi drill battery. I ordered this praying it was compatible. Not only did it woeked but it got my batter back up to full charge quickly. A great, cost effective replacement.

I've had my Ryobi drill forever it seems, and every couple of years I've had to get new batteries as the old ones wouldn't keep a charge. Well- Ryobi changed their batteries -- for the better -- and I ended up getting one that holds a charge 6x longer than my previous cells. The problem? My old chargers wouldn't recharge it. Enter this charger. BONUS: It will charge both the new and the old style batteries. And it works just fine. Zero complaints. It's a little larger than my previous chargers, but that's okay - I'm needing only one of them instead of two, as before. If you have a trusty Ryobi and want to keep it - do so. The new batteries work great. You'll just need this charger to keep 'em energized.
