I own a 96 Trans Am T56 and it fitted perfect, I was wondering if the part #3.1111G was the right one for my car and it surely was.No problems at all

This Torque Arm Bushing fits on the stock torque arm and fits into the clam shell mount once the factory rubber inserts are removed. The tip I have is to remove the transmission crossmember, the factory transmission mount and pull the clam shell out a ways and rotate down, then you can clear the torque are. Thanks

not a direct bolt in and adjustments are required to get it in the right position and everything bolted up.

Got this torque arm bushing for my '98 Z28. Fits perfect and helped reduce wheel hop quite a bit! Be sure to have pliers handy to compress the clamshell to get the bolts started. Well worth the price if you're on a budget!

I have an '88 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM (GTA). A few months ago I started hearing a metal to metal banging sound when shifting gears. After crawling under the car to investigate, I discovered the factory bushing on the torque arm was essentially gone due to normal wear and tear. I found this replacement on Amazon and ordered it. It got here quickly and I installed it right away. Problem solved. I have not heard one metallic clang since I installed it. I am very pleased with the quality of this part. It's made of urethane rubber and should last longer than the factory bushing. Of course, the factory bushing did last 25 years so I can't complain too loudly. 8-)
