I ordered another set of bushings as the spare set I have on hand doesn't have enough bushings to replace the 5 that are worn. What I received was a kit with the black bushing part number and red bushings instead. My old spare set has the same part number for comparison. A couple of the new bushings has to be swapped between shells to find a tighter fit as they would fall out on their own. The kit on the right in the first picture is about 14 years old and quality between then and now is far different. Due to the bushings being changed out in the morning and getting them this afternoon, I'll have to settle on red as I can't cancel the installation. Not overly happy about the red or dimensions being inconsistent as the new may be looser than the old. The old poly bushings currently in my 64 have around 135k miles on them over a period of 15 years. They were installed with the supplied grease and have developed some wear allowing control arm movement. The power steering leak years back did eat the driver's side lower poly bushings hence having the spare set.

Good price for poly bushesThe 50 year old rubber bushes needed replacing on our 60 Belair, so decided to fit poly bushes to help the handling.Fairly easy to fit , had to make up some special tools to fit them, but would have had the same issue with rubber bushes.Fitted perfectly, Improved the handling of the Bel Air, (it's a lot more stable in the corners etc)Have ordered a set for the rear end now

Although kit was broken open all pieces were there.
