Does what it's supposed to do but do not trust this as a single check for electrical charged equipment. Always safe to have a multi-meter to double check the accuracy of any electrical system or component. other than that...it works as is should and has a bright digital red display.

It's no frills, no documentation, but it does the basic task at hand. For the price, I feel like it's perfectly fine but not much more than that.

I ordered this to carry in my truck toolbox. I carry a full size digital multimeter, but sometimes it's just easier to have a probe. I've had a 12 volt probe for many years, but I have not seen one with a digital readout. This is nice because it will will work on a variety of voltages. This will be a very simple handy tool to have in the truck. It seemed to be pretty accurate compared to my digital multimeter, which is a pretty high end meter. It's made almost entirely of plastic, except the metal probe and it doesn't seem to be real heavy duty, but if you're careful with it, like you should be with your tools anyway I believe you can get many years of use out of it.
