It is an excellent value but several of them came with scratches or black marks that did not wipe off. Still a great value and good for what I needed them for. Just don't expect perfection. Great for making period bags for your local school or women's shelter or fill with a chapstick, some shower wipes, and snacks to hand out to homeless people. Etc

These pouches are miracles! Just two zips (one really, if it’s already open!) and you can keep your pencils, pens, and other pencil/pen shaped & sized objects for hours—probably even days—safely protected from prying eyes & loose bounces onto desks, couches, bar counters, tables, laps…and, dare I say, even floors. What other sort of objects can be stored therein? Why, just the other day it occurred to me: Why not try a grape? Would you risk a whole bunch? I lasted a few minutes, but then, I must admit, I couldn’t recall seeing anywhere whether they were food safe…so zip zip, out they came, albeit completely unscathed. Whew! SoThe point here is that Ziploc still rules the day in that arena. Now, the opacity is tenuous, as teachers using them as cell phone sleeping bags often find egg on their face upon discovering students, ostensibly cuddling with their snoozing devices…just to learn that they can see and type RIGHT THROUGH THE MISCREANT PENCIL POUCH AND MADLY TICTOK THE DAY AWAY WITH NO REGARD FOR THEIR EDUCATION. In such case I recommend a layer of Reynolds Aluminum foil. They will be the foiled ones! For mere pennies a pouch. You’ll be smiling all the way to the bank.

The funny thing is that I ordered these just wanting one to hold my toothbrush and toothpaste for traveling. I had been using one of those pencil pouches you put in a binder with the three rings on the side, but it definitely wasn’t waterproof or leakproof. These pouches work wonderfully! And now I can use the other pouches in the pack for sorting and organizing a bunch more areas of my home!I would be more than happy paying the price of this whole pack just for one to three pouches. The quality is fantastic, nice sturdy material that I’ve confirmed is waterproof, a really good smooth zipper, perfect size for so many things, and beautiful colors. I definitely recommend these!
