I used this kit to replace the foam on a pair of EPI Time Energy 70 speakers I picked up at Goodwill. They were cheap because the foam surrounds were shot. I initially replaced the entire drivers, but was unimpressed with the result. Given the reputation of the speakers, I thought I’d try to refoam the original drivers. I’m glad I did. The kit worked perfectly and the speakers live up to their reputation. They sound great. I would absolutely do this again if faced with the same situation. Just follow the directions and take your time. Well worth the modest expense and effort.

These worked out well in my attempt to repair some EPI bookshelf speakers I came across. If you don't need OEM, consider doing the repair yourself with a set of these.

I found that either I am quite clumsy or these are not all that easy to install. It took me about 3 hours between cleaning and preparing the speakers and installing the surrounds. The end result was a fully functional speaker however i was unable to apply the glue neatly , but it doesn't matter since no one else will see my slopply work.
