I just got a used car from 2011 that has a bunch of plastic on the exterior and lots on the interior. The exterior parts are all very sun faded to a light gray instead of black so I wanted to give this a shot. This actually works pretty well and will restore the plastic back to the dark black it is supposed to be. It is more for matte surfaces but some gloss surfaces will benefit from this too. The biggest issues is that I had to go back and do several coats because certain spots would remain lighter than the rest and look bad. The instructions say to wipe off after 5 minutes but it all seems to be absorbed. It never mentioned anything about multiple coats in the instructions so it may be that it works better on different types of plastic. It is worth it if you have a large amount of black plastic that would benefit from being revived. All in all works pretty well.

So living in Florida comes with some drawbacks. Namely, the sun will definitely fade out your black plastic materials on equipment and vehicles. I do have a boat, but I don't really concern myself about plastics on the boat as it's stored and covered. However I bought this to be able to experiment on my lawn mower and vehicle plastics. I do believe if you have an ATV this would be great for it as well. But after rubbing this on the black areas of the plastic I can see that it came alive and it seems to get a good protection. For this it's on par with every product that I've tried and time will tell if it holds up but I do like this product so far and I think the price point is a very good value.Sponge that it came with is a kind of cheap material so not going to knock it for that as I have my own towels and sponges to apply with.

I obtained and started using this EpicRestore over a month ago. Living in an harsh desert environment I’m always looking for products that excel in restoring and protecting my various vehicles and equipment. I’ve tried this product out on my UTV’s, 4x4 truck, and my motorhome trim and vinyl areas. So far it has performed well restoring and giving the rubber, vinyl and plastic parts that new looking appearance. The real test as far as I’m concerned is how well it will protect from UV damage. I’ve tried several popular restore/protect products that really didn’t provide much UV protection at all from a harsh desert sun. I will upgrade this review to reflect its performance come late fall. So far I’m pleased with the product. Just need some more time to determine its protection capabilities. So far I consider this product a decent value.

This didn't do much to restore that new look to any plastic trim I applied it to. I was hoping it would rejuvenate the older faded and dull plastic but I wasn't impressed with the results. It did show that it would repel water but other than that I don't think it is worth the money or effort.

Did a really great job putting a matte finish on the plastic parts in the engine bay. I washed and dried, then applied the product. Looks really good.

I tried this on the black rubber rub rail on our boat and it did not do an epic job. It states to let it sit for 5 minutes and buff off but after only a few minutes there is nothing to buff off it was all absorbed. Rubber looked remotely better but certainly not much of an improvement. Does not say anything about applying multiple coats but perhaps that is the trick. Would not recommend for rubber but perhaps it works better on plastic or vinyl.

My old VW campervan is now over 40 years old and some of the original plastic trim has seen better days. I think part of the issue is the intense UV damage caused by living at a higher altitude in Colorado. It can make a black piece of plastic look grey over time. I was super pleased to find this "EpicRestore" worked like magic on my vans trim and really brought the black back out and the grey looking parts are nice and black again.Although this product is marketed towards the marine market, I have found that products designed for marine use are usually more heavy duty than other products and they will also work wonders on terrestrial vehicles like my old van.Sometimes products made for marine use can be ridiculously expensive, but this restorer/protectant is priced very reasonably in my opinion, and is a welcome addition to my my van maintenance gear.
