Purchased this for use on my long haired dogs, who don’t like to be combed/brushed. They don’t mind it at all. It’s surprisingly soft and effective.

I never write reviews but I love this! My OTTB tends to be on the sensitive side and hates being curry combed, especially on his barrel (he does not have ulcers). It got to the point that I stopped curry combing him unless I needed to. I was skeptical about him liking it because he has hated every other curry comb I have tried ( even the rubber ones with the flexible bristles). I was also worried about the durability of the wooden bristles and how stiff they looked. I use this everyday before and after I ride and he loves to roll. So far it has held up great! I have had it for several months. No bristles have come out, no splinting or cracking in any of the wood, and the bristles are more flexible then they look. I do not think durability will be an issue as long as I don’t use it for bathing. It also doesn’t work as well on a wet or sweaty horse as a rubber curry comb does. My horse is so much better behaved when I groom him and I suspect he may even like the curry comb instead of just tolerating it. I know this was a long review, but I highly recommend!

Had a friend who swears by this and it IS everything! My horse, who isn’t really sensitive, went from hating being curried and pinning his ears to standing with a fat off look in his face of relaxing. Also a great mane and tail comb AND de-shedder. Will ALWAYS have one of these in my grooming kit!

This is a great brush for manes and tails. Gets the job done without breaking the hair. Epona items never disappoint.

Returning product because the description was misleading.Mary's Tack Store was very friendly but they have to follow amazon rules and have to charge shipping.Product looks nice though. Hopefully this 1 star review will get people to double check costs before buying.

These are the best in my opinion. My Arabs LOVE them. Fantastic at getting everything loosened up. Could be a bit more durable BUT it does the job so well I don't mind. I think I ordered them from seller 3 quarter tack. They are in Montana I know that. They came well packaged and quickly to. Charged shipping but the price for the brushes was cheaper.

Now have 3 of these! They shed out horses well and the horses enjoy getting a massage!
