This ethernet cord was highly needed. We have 1000Mbps Up/Down for internet speed and was wondering why we were only getting barely 200Mbps speeds when hard wire. Turns out going from CAT6 to CAT8 is a HUGE upgrade to connectivity. Love that it came with its own wall tacks that arent bulky, did need to buy more considering the spacing we ran to utilize has as many as we could. Other than that the cord works great, binded to the wall with no connection issues and has a very aesthetic look with white walls, and still had enough length going from upstairs to downstairs to use if needed more arrangements.

LONG STORY SHORT:The cables didn't work but the seller provided excellent customer service and support.RATING:1-star for two out of two defective cables5-stars for the quickest seller warranty processing that I've ever experienced.THE STORY:I bought these 100-ft Cat7 cables to run long distance HDMI over ethernet. My helper for installation was unable to do the job when I expected so I stored the cables, untested, in their original packaging and in my cabinet. Fast forward a couple months. I opened them both for the install and both of them were faulty. I examined the RJ45 connectors and they appeared to be wired correctly and securely. I traced every foot of both wires by hand and there were no feel-able or visible defect to the wires so I assume there must be a break or short somewhere along the way. I didn't have a tester on hand and my multimeter wouldn't handle a continuity test for cables this long.I missed Amazon's return window, contacted Amazon, and they directed me to contact the seller since the cables were under warranty. I wouldn't expect it (ever) but the seller responded to my warranty request the same day I sent it and gave me the option for refund or replacement. I opted for refund and received an Amazon email a few hours later notifying me that the seller processed my refund.Four stars because the faulty products are worth mentioning but the customer service was flawless.

I am a bit disappointed. After so much fanfare got this and now it seems that the lan cable is about 4-5 feet shorter than 50ft.The signal is good. I get 400-500 mbps on wifi.That is currently the only disappointment with this cable. I have been able to work the thing easily due to the flatness of the cable.

This is an ideal patch cable for extending your network. Being flat is great for poking down the side of the carpet or behind furniture. It can also be stored neatly as it coils well. Otherwise it connects well with good quality connectors.
