I bought these gloves because I needed to sand cabinet doors all day everyday for months. It helps a little but on my off work time, if I just grip things, the back of my hand burns. I feel discomfort in my hand regularly now all the time even if I use the glove religiously to sand. I tried to be patient to see progress for a full month.I had to leave my job because that was the job, to sand doors. I couldn't continue because of the vibration causing pain. The sander was the best I have used. It's the newest model of Festool. But the gloved turned to be ineffective. Now I'm out close to $70 and a job. I didn't have pain in my hand like this before doing all this sanding.

Better than sanding with bare hand

While working on a home remodel project, I’ve developed a case of hand arm vibration syndrome. I ordered these gloves so that I could continue working on the project. They don’t completely eliminate the sensation of vibrations, but they didn’t exacerbate the condition while I was using them. They also fit really well, and I have kind of small hands. They are really bulky, and you couldn’t use them if you were doing fine detail work. I think they were a good value for the money, and I continue to use them, particularly when using a multi tool.

Developed tendonitis in my wrist but still needed to use an orbital sander to finish a project, so I started looking into gloves to help cushion against vibration. I'm not in the trades so I had no idea they existed but lo and behold ! Bought these for around $90? and I can say they're worth it. The smallest size fit my mid-sized female hands fine. They make a noticeable difference when using the sander, the highest setting now feels like the lowest. My only issue is they can't be washed so they're probably going to get roughed up pretty bad over time. If they last 2+ years I would be pleased.

If you are looking for the best protection against vibration, this is the ticket. The gloves look good and are very well made. They felt tight when I tried them but they adjust to your hand after a while. They did not register on the touch screen but I do not work cell phones on the job. On the other hand they offer superb protection against vibration on my weeder/wood cutter as well as my chain saw.I did not work hard enough to really test durability and only time will tell.In summary, nice gloves, excellent fit and superb vibration protection.

I bought this pair and another pair from same mfg as my hands go numb and tingling after using gas powered grass trimmer. This pair was most effective. I like the velcro closure at the wrist. Keeps gloves in place. These did cut the vibrations down to where my hands were only slightly tingling after 1 hour of use. Much improved, but not totally stopping the vibrations to hand, hence only 4 stars.

These gloves really work to protect your hands and arms from vibration. I have nerve damage in one of my arms and I didn't feel anything besides a little tingling in my fingers after using these gloves and it was very minor and went away within minutes. Would highly recommend these gloves and not cheaper gloves that don't actually work! I use them for mowing and edging during the summer when the grass is growing and I needed the real thing or my arm is in pain for days. These were perfect.

These gloves significantly reduced the vibration impact to the palms of my hand when using my 18V Makita reciprocating saw. I also like that they are backed by the manufacturer's US warranty.

Provides significantly more padding on the palm and fingers than a similar product from a well-known discount hardware chain.Note there are vinyl/rubber(?) protective strips on the outside of the fingers and a larger piece over the knuckles. They should provide back-of-hand good protection in construction and industrial work, but they are perspiration blocks for those who only need the anti-vibration padding while operating mowers and hand tools because of arthritis or hand injuries.

The Ergodyne ProFlex 9015F(x) are the real deal. Period. I am an Engineer, so I research everything. Rather than just accepting the claims, I called the company AND researched the standards they claimed to meet. They are ANSI certified, plus meeting other international standards. I bought the first pair to keep my hands from going numb due to mowing with a push mower. The construction is excellent. Are they hot in hot weather? Yes. But you cannot get vibration protection without having the necessary material to dissipate the vibration energy before it gets to your hands. And the material will keep in heat - a good thing in the winter. They are quite wear resistant. Anyone who wants to be able to do fine work, holding a nut, or similar sort of activity, while wearing these gloves is going to disappoint themselves. You have to have material to get rid of the energy. Fine work calls for thin gloves. Know the work you are doing and don't expect a glove like this to do fine work. These are "jack hammer gloves", not gloves for tuning a race car. The other thing, since hot hands sweat, get two pairs of gloves - at least. They will stink after a day of work. You stink too after a day of hard work, don't you? Wash them. I checked with Ergodyne. Washing the gloves on a mild setting in the washing machine will not hurt them. Then hang them up and air dry them. For those with a small business and an HSA account, if you have a friendly doctor who will write a letter of medical necessity for you, your HSA will pay for them. You can be brave, proud, and worry about what other people think, and have numb hands for the rest of your life - not a reversible condition -, or you can go to the trouble of getting these gloves, doing things the right way and keeping your feeling. The only weak point might be the Velcro closures. That could stand some improvement. These gloves are very highly recommended. Oh yes, another nice thing: they are American made. The company has excellent customer service.
