The loop that comes with the belt isn't given out in the Amazon warehouses, would be great if they were.

If you got issues carrying the scanner all the time or any small tools this lanyard thing will save you the pain, hands free all the time. Worth the price!

It did work and everything but honestly, I just moved on from it. I got the ergodym or whatever forklift strap/holster. It's better for my constant jumping on and off the forklift for order picking.

The ergodyne squid is very convenient. I carry it with me when I'm at work and hands free when using the jack pallet.

Originally I had thought that this belt scanner was only suitable to be put on your waist, so I've only used it in that configuration but that really limits reachability causing you to need to take it off the belt and hook it back on again when you're done scanning something really high up or far out. However, you can wear it across your chest as well apparently so that should fix the reachability issue...just don't expect it to sit still it'll waggle around a little if its placed right in front of you. Overall though it does it's job well, and the quality of the material is pretty good- way thicker and durable than the harnesses Amazon provided me at the warehouse.
