Ernie Ball Power Slinky Electric Strings are a perfect match for those who like chunky rhythms for rock and roll or blues. Power Slinkys have long been favored by Slash, Metallica, & Kenny Wayne Shepherd due to the thicker gauge combination providing a slightly more powerful tone. These strings are precision manufactured to the highest standards and most exacting specifications to ensure consistency, optimum performance, and long life. Power Slinky wound strings are made from nickel plated steel wire wrapped around a hex shaped steel core wire. The plain strings are made of specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel; producing a well balanced tone for your guitar.

The high E breaks after only a couple uses. I've gone through 5 of them in the last couple weeks.

I have used every brand out there and always return to Ernie Balls. The selection is awesome and they last a long time and stay in tune very well on many different guitars I own. You cant go wrong with Ernie Ball products.

These are exactly the same as you get from the music store and they play just fine. I'll probably order more of these when I run out.

I've been using these strings since I was 10. I went to 12 for a little while, but they are just too much for a guy that is a weekend warrior, 10's are a joke. I'm a blues guy and the 11's feel just right. I've never had issues with bad strings, or strings breaking when I first put them on. Most last a week or two of heavy playing, much longer if just occasionally used.
