The 5304516871 Dryer Lint Filter catches many of the fibers from clothing, that shed when tumbling around in the dryer due to the agitation and high heat, and prevents those fibers from obstructing the dryer vent hose. Your lint filter might have to be replaced if:
- The lint filter is damaged or broken
- The lint filter is missing

The lint trap of a friend's dryer was broken. By looking up his model number I located a parts list. Finding the original numbers allowed me to get the correct part. It was exactly like the one my friend broke by normal use.Hope this helps someone.

This filter is the perfect fit for my stacked washer/dryer. It dará the job of filtering lint very good and seems durable.

The original one began to rust (after many years), so it was time for at replacement. I did have to"pinch" the bottom for it to sit properly in the slot and ensure the door stayed closed.
